War was declared on the United States of America on September 11, 2001 in the areas of New York City, Northern Virginia at the Pentagon, and in rural Pennsylvania. It is estimated that over
3,000 people, not just Americans, but people from many parts of the world lost their lives in the four cowardly acts of terrorism, perpetrated by fanatics who committed suicide during their attacks, rather than face the wrath of the American people and our justice system. All of the victims in this senseless act were heroes and they, not the terrorists, have become martyrs and symbols of freedom all over the world.

Terrorists - a Definition
Title 22 of the United States Code, Section 2656(d), contains the following definitions for terrorism:
The term "terrorism" means premeditated, politically motivated violence perpetrated against noncombatant targets by sub-national groups or clandestine agents, usually intended to influence an audience.
The term "international terrorism" means terrorism involving citizens or the territory of more than one country.
The term "terrorist group" means any group practicing, or that has significant subgroups that practice, international terrorism.

On Tuesday, September 11, 2001, in the City of New York, the law enforcement and fire fighter communities, as well as medical services personnel, lost possibly hundreds of brave, caring people, as a result of a cowardly act of terrorism. Unlike the fanatical lunatics who deliberately committed suicide to murder thousands of innocent people, our brothers and sisters made the ultimate sacrifice in their valiant efforts to save lives.
