The proliferation of gangs within the United States and other parts of the world has led to a concern by all responsible people. It is now imperative that our concerns reach further and we all have some degree of gang awareness. This includes not only law enforcement and corrections personnel, but parents, teachers, other professionals, and anyone else who is concerned about their own safety and security within our communities.
